Sellers are only allowed to sell “handmade” items that must be deemed not to have been produced through “mass production” methods and must be the original design or produce of the seller. See our Seller’s FAQ for our policy is what is allowed for sale.
Sellers must not list prohibited items – for a list of such items please refer to our Sellers FAQ for our policy on what is not allowed for sale. Krafty reserves the right to change this list at any time and without notice.
Seller’s content and items must be your own original work which you have the right to make available and is not defamatory, does not infringe any law and indemnify Krafty against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by Krafty as a result of your breach of the above warranty.
Sellers must be legally entitled to sell the item listed for sale on Krafty. You must hold the intellectual property rights for any text and images you include in your listings.
Sellers must not list contact details, including your website address, email address and phone number, within listings, or in your seller profile or in messages sent through Krafty mail.
Sellers must possess the items listed in their shops. In case the item is no longer available with the seller, the listing must be removed.
Sellers must accurately and truthfully describe the items listed in their shops.
Sellers must choose appropriate categories for their items.
Sellers must provide accurate personal information such as names, addresses, contact details and telephone numbers. This information will be used by Krafty to arrange shipping of an item through a third party courier service. This information may also be used by Krafty to contact sellers for any verification purposes.
Unless otherwise specified in the description of the item or in case of customization of item, Krafty recommends that sellers be ready to ship items within 3 days of purchase of an item.
Sellers are responsible for appropriately packing their items to ensure that it is received by buyers safely and in good condition.
Sellers are responsible for accurately inputting weight of their packaged items at the time of listing. Accurate weights are necessary to calculate shipping charges. Over weighted or underweighted items might result in inaccurate shipping charges to buyers. Any expenses incurred due to inaccurate weight reporting will be borne by sellers.
Sellers are responsible for accurately filling in airways bills to facilitate shipping with the information Krafty provides in the event of a sale.
Sellers that do not have their items ready for delivery after a period of time, as deemed reasonable by Krafty, and hence cannot complete a sale after a buyer has made the payment will be blacklisted by Krafty. Any losses or expenses incurred in case a seller fails to complete a sale will be borne by the seller.
Sellers should ensure that when a purchase is made, correct items for ready for shipping. If it is found that wrong items or broken items or items drastically different from what is described in the item’s listing have been shipped from the seller to a buyer, then the seller has a chance to work with Krafty to ensure that the situation is corrected and the buyer receives the right items. Any expenses occurred in this process will be borne by the seller.
Edibles are not allowed for sale on Krafty. Any such listing will be removed from the site.
Currently, sellers based outside the UAE are not allowed to sell on Krafty.
Krafty reserves the right to terminate the membership of any seller who fails to adhere to the above guidelines and to remove any listing that is deemed inappropriate for the website.
