Buying steps on Krafty
To shop on krafty, you need to register with us. This lets you create a profile, use your profile to rate products or leave feedback and become part of the Krafty art community.
To purchase an item on Krafty, select Add to cart on the item page and it will be added to your shopping cart which is displayed at the top right of each page. Items will stay in your cart until you remove them or checkout.
We have a lot of exciting things planned for our growing Krafty community and we would love to have you on board.
How do I pay for an item?
We currently have 2 options for payment on Krafty. Credit/Debit card and Cash on delivery.
All Credit/Debit card transactions are processed via a secure third party payment gateway system. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers. Your personal and credit card details are protected at all times. Final amounts will appear in United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED).
We also have a Cash on Delivery option available within the UAE. However, a flat fee of AED 10 will be added to the shipping charge of your order per store. Cash on Delivery buyers can expect a call from us to confirm orders.
How long does it take to receive my purchases?
When you buy an item on Krafty, an automatic notification is sent to the maker of that item to pack your purchase for delivery. A buyer has a maximum period of 3 business days to ensure that the item is ready. We pick it up and make sure that it will be delivered to you in good order and condition.
When purchased locally (Within UAE), items will be shipped in 5-7 working days if not sooner. For international orders, it's not yet available and will be launched soon
Note: In some cases, the maker of your purchase may need a specified time period to prepare or customize the item. Please read item descriptions carefully for any time bound conditions.
To avoid delays, please make sure you provide a working contact number and accurate address to speed up the delivery process.
What should I do if I receive the wrong purchase?
Our artists are dedicated and are very proud of the items they create and sell. While every effort is made to deliver the right item to you, a mistake could happen. If you receive the wrong item, please email us at: email@example.com with the subject line ‘wrong item received’ within 72 hours of receiving the item. We will get on it right away and make sure you receive exactly what you purchased within a reasonable timeline that will be communicated to you.
What can I do to support the Krafty community?
Krafty is a community and we invite you to be part of it. Once you receive your item, we would love it if you could take the time to review the item and leave feedback about the seller. We encourage you to tell us what you liked or did not like about the item. This will help other buyers to make purchasing decisions too and grow the community of like-minded art lovers.
Leaving reviews and feedback will also build your own rating, making you eligible for select perks as our community grows.
Can I receive a refund if I don’t like my item?
We do not offer any refunds. We recommend that you read the product descriptions carefully before purchasing. Most products are one of a kind made by talented artisans who put a lot of hard work and passion into their creations and we are certain that you will love what you buy.
What should I do if my item is broken?
Our sellers make every effort to ensure that your item is packaged appropriately so that it reaches you safe and sound. In the rare case that you do receive a broken item, please inform us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line ‘broken item received’. This MUST be done within 48 hours of receiving the item for the issue to be addressed. We will investigate and try our best to ensure you receive a replacement. If the same product is not available, you will get store credit for the amount spent (cost of item and paid shipping) and you are free to buy something else on Krafty Market. To prevent misuse of this policy, we DO NOT consider any complaints about broken items received more than 48 hours after delivery.
I don’t live in the United Arab Emirates; can I still buy from Krafty ?
At the moment, Krafty shipping is only available in the United Arab Emirates. We are however expanding and working hard to ensure that delivery is available around the world at the earliest.
For international purchase and shipping, service will be launched soon.
Can you make customized adjustments to the items displayed?
Our sellers are flexible and always ready to accommodate a buyer’s custom request where possible. We encourage you to get in touch with the seller and request the changes you need, whether it is colour or specifications. Our crafters and makers are more than happy to answer any questions you have and many offer customization of their items to fit your requirements.
